The developer Empire Communities is building one of the most luxurious residences in Canada, a highly personal urban sanctuary in Yorkville, Toronto. The project offers both urban luxe and urban life, a combination of historic charm with contemporary design. The unique character of the residences are a soothing and stimulating balance between the city and the world, grand indoors and green outdoors, exclusivity and community, street and sky.
I chose to use the ampersand as a design element throughout the brand to capture the way the residence unifies these pairings of desired but seemingly incompatible traits. The logo icon is a representation of the building and can also read as two number "3"s intersecting, alluding to the building's address at 33 Avenue.
